Certified by the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Travis James is the owner and general dermatologist at Providence Dermatology. Serving people of all ages in Providence, Cache Valley, Logan, and Brigham City, UT, Dr. James treats patients with various issues, including acne, chronic skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis, skin cancer, rosacea, and other concerns. He has received extensive training in noninvasive cosmetic dermatology and has presented at local and national dermatology meetings throughout his career. Dr. James is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and believes in providing highly specialized care to each patient without overcharging them for unnecessary treatments.

Dr. James was born and raised in Cache Valley, UT and attended Mountain Crest High School. He served an LDS mission in San Antonio, TX before attending college. Dr. James enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, fishing, playing sports, and spending time together outdoors.

Best Dermatologist to ever provide me with care. I have been seen by numerous dermatologists throughout my life. As one with very fair skin, I have received many different treatments. Dr. James has definitely been the most helpful in this regard. He is kind and compassionate. He takes time to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. I rarely post reviews but Dr. James and Providence Dermatology definitely deserve one! We have needed his assistance more than once in the past year and he is always so helpful and professional. My little boy ended up with poison ivy of all things and he was so miserable. Dr. James immediately helped him get some medicine to ease the discomfort and then got him going on the medicine needed to help him heal up. He explains things well, is fun with our kids, and his office is always clean with a great staff. We won’t go anywhere else.
